Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Robusto (5.5×54)

Presentation is awesome. Sexy black box, that is also the tightest fitting cigar box I’ve ever seen. 10 evenly divided rows but oddly enough not wrapped in cellophane. Cigars are perfect in shape and construction with a pig tailed end and a folded foot Next to no aroma, smells like an average everyday cigar. Light up, flavors of earth, oak, salt, tobacco and a little charcoal. Small crack on the end developed but went away quickly. First third, holey moley this thing is good! Tastes woodsy, earthy and the finish is straight up salted butter! Like not similar but almost exactly! Wow! Second third, booming smoke! More of the same but the buttery salty finish now has some lime zest and black pepper floating around which is a slight shame because the start was so amazing! Still good mind you just not as great as the start. Burn and ash is thick and straight. Final third, an extremely consistent cigar which is by no means a bad thing. Taste just like the first two thirds but the lime zest and pepper have died down and now ending with a cream and toast flavor with the salt and butter and oak. No issues what so ever. On the nub,more of all of the same as previously mentioned with a smidge more pepper. Damn, this is one of the better cigars I’ve had in quite awhile. Would pair well with an Octoberfest beer or a blended or barrel finish whiskey. Something smooth and even but nothing to steal the show away from this cigar. Kudos Drew Estate!
