I probably won’t give many cigars a five star rating, but this MyFather is a must try. This is 2015’s cigar of the year scoring a whopping 97. The Le Bijou 1922 comes equipped with high end looking double presentation bands and foot band. The wrapper is pristine, very nice looking with a triple cap, Upon first light, a strong presence of black pepper and oak. There’s dark creamy coco or maybe a chocolate sweetness. It’s earthy with some leather and a very complex fruity undertone like a pancake syrup made from raisins. A very well blended and balanced flavor profile. It has a peppery, and woodsy cedar retro hale. smoke output is bountiful also chewy and a little oily. Sometimes a slight uneven burn that seems to quickly even up all by itself on most, a couple of lighter touch ups. Near perfect draw, Flavor profile mellows in the second third as it picks up on more of a medium body strength, but you can still taste all the flavors. Final third brings Full flavor with medium to full body. The fruit notes fade while earth and wood have increased. Since 2015, I’ve smoke around a hundred of these cigars. Its been one of my favorite cigars of all time.
